Fulton County Commissioners presented a proclamation recognizing Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month during their March 6 meeting. Ms. Whitlock Daniels (left photo), a client of the Central Training Center, held the Intellectual Disabilities Awareness Month proclamation as Commissioners, Behavioral Health staff, parents and clients stood with her following the presentation. The observance recognizes the value of including developmentally disabled individuals in every area of daily life and acknowledges their potential to serve as productive citizens in society. Dozens of clients of Fulton County's Developmental Disabilities Division's three centers in North, Central and South Fulton joined commissioners as they urged inclusion of the developmentally disabled in every area of life in Fulton County.(Photo on Right) left-right Darryl Nance, Beverly Woods (standing in the back), Ashley Burger, Jamila Stewart (staff), Victoria Nance and Hiep Nguyen.
