Fulton Health Services Offers Help for Depression | Print |

According to the National Institute of Mental Health, everyone occasionally feels blue or sad, but these feelings are usually fleeting and pass within a couple of days. When a person has a depressive disorder, it interferes with daily life, normal functioning, and causes pain for both the person with the disorder and those who care about him or her.

Depression is a common but serious illness, and most that experience it need treatment to get better.  The Fulton County Health Services Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities offers services to assist residents dealing with depression Behavioral Health has scheduled depression screenings for concerned residents on October 7, 2010 from 12:00 pm until 4:00 pm at the following locations:

College Park Regional Health Center - 1920 John Wesley Avenue, College Park, GA 30337

 The Center for Health and Rehabilitation - 265 Boulevard, NE Atlanta, GA 30312

 Adamsville Health Center - 3699 Bakers Ferry Road, SE Atlanta, GA 30331
