The Fulton County Office of Aging provides In-Home Services in two categories: Homemaker Services and Personal Care Services. The services are provided to seniors who are 60 years of age or older, and have been authorized by a Case Manager to receive the appropriate service. There is a cost-share for this program based on the income of the senior.

 

Homemaker Services
A senior who has trouble with strenuous housework, such as vacuuming, mopping, doing laundry, dusting, etc. would be assisted by this service. An aide would visit them at a frequency determined by the Case Manager to assist with these housekeeping chores.

 

Personal Care Services
The Personal Care Aide can assist with bathing, washing hair, changing dressings, etc. The senior would be visited by an aide at a frequency determined by the Case Manager.
