This program aligns with the Board of Commissioners strategic goal that "all people trust government is efficient, effective and fiscally sound. This program provides staff enrichment, education and training in Civil Rights/Equal Access laws, policies and executive mandates as well as select diversity related topics to ensure that County staff are aware of their rights and responsibilities in maintaining an inclusive, accessible, and respectful workplace and service delivery environment. This program is aligned with the Compliance/Management Indicator of the subject priority. Other tasks embedded in this program include: develop/analyze workforce /diversity metrics ; develop/implement staff trainings and strategic initiatives; develop /distribute reports/EEO Plans for submission to County executives and federal agencies, and develop/update/distribute of policies/posters/ collateral materials.
