CIVIL RIGHTS INVESTIGATION, PROGRAMMING & COMPLIANCE | Print |

DCRC - Logo            The Civil Rights Investigation, Programming and Compliance program seeks to ensure Fulton County's compliance with all applicable civil rights laws, regulations, related County policies, and industry best practices in order to prevent, discover, and remediate all forms of unlawful discrimination as well as to create and maintain a fair, equitable and inclusive environment for employees and the public. This program is aligned with the Board of Commissioners' Strategic Priority: All People Trust Government is Efficient, Effective and Fiscally Sound [Key Performance Indicator: Compliance/Management]. Other tasks embedded in this program include: employee counseling, alternate dispute resolution (ADR), technical assistance to department directors/managers, complaint investigation/recommendation monitoring, and litigation/hearing research, participation and related activities. To accomplish this purpose, the Civil Rights Investigations, Programming and Compliance Program provides services as described in the sections that follow.
